May 12, 2005The idea of a weblog dedicated to children's fiction and angled toward adults has been kicking around my head for a long time. Thanks to the generosity of Eris Free and Six Apart, I was able to build it very quickly and without the drawn-out battle with Photoshop and HTML that typify most of my past web projects.

This is a great idea. I'm a high school teacher and have long considered doing the same thing. I'll be back and I may send a kid or two here in the fall. By then, there will be a lot more reviews, surely. Need suggestions? You now have my email. I look forward to other books reviewed here.

There will indeed be more reviews. They'll probably show up in clusters as I have chunks of semi-free time to write them...I have plans to go through my whole YA and children's book shelf and review everything I like, but suggestions are also invited.
